Dave Scott
Recreation Director, CYSA

My name is David Scott and I’ve been the Recreation Director for the Sweden Clarkson Recreation Department since June 2004. Before becoming Director, I was the Croc Roc’s Coordinator and Youth Program Development Coordinator for the recreation department for one year. I have several years of recreation experience including coaching HS football for eight years.

I live in Sweden with my wife Kelly and three sons - Ashton, Derek and Landon.  I graduated from SUNY Brockport in 1997 with a degree in Recreation Management. I also hold certifications in coaching, sports nutrition and youth sports administrator. I am also a member of NRPA, GVRPS, NYSRPS and NAYS.

 

 

Breanne Krucher
Recreation Supervisor

My name is Breanne Krucher; I am originally from Norwich, NY. I came to Brockport in 1999 to earn a Bachelors Degree. I completed my degree at SUNY Brockport in Recreation and Leisure Studies with a concentration in Management in May 2004. My main responsibility within the Recreation Department is running the Sweden Senior Center on a daily basis. I also program for our seniors in the community and oversee all front desk operations at the Sweden Senior Center, and am responsible for advertising, press releases, the brochure, monthly newsletter, teaching Silver Sneakers Classes, special events within the community as well as Risk Management issues within the Senior Center.

My personal interest includes being a mom, spending time with my family and friends, camping, traveling, being outdoors, teaching dance classes and working with children. 

Recreation and Leisure is an essential part of my life and I hope it continues to be a growing process in your life. I plan to meet all your recreational needs within the community center as well as sustain the growth of the programs. I am very excited to be with the towns of Sweden and Clarkson pursing one of my life’s goals while learning many new things about the community we serve.

 

 

Jill Wisnowski
Recreation Assistant

A life-long resident of this community, my family and I make our home in Clarkson. In my spare time I enjoy walking, dancing, biking and working on my historical 1820s house. I am a graduate of Brockport Central School and Bryant & Stratton Business Institute with degrees in Travel & Tourism and Legal Assistant. Many of you may remember me as the administrative assistant for the Sweden Clarkson Recreation from the fall of 2003 thru the winter of 2007.

I am currently trying a new venture as a Recreation Assistant for the department. My areas of responsibility include the before and after school program, as well as being the Director of the children’s summer camp and CIT program. I also teach Silver Sneakers at the Community Center. I look forward to serving the community in this new capacity.
