Jill Wisnowski
Recreation Leader

A life-long resident of this community, my family and I make our home in Clarkson.
In my spare time I enjoy walking, biking and gardening.
I am a graduate of Brockport Central School and Bryant & Stratton College with degrees in Travel & Tourism and Legal Assistant. Many of you may remember me as the administrative assistant for the Sweden Clarkson Recreation Department from fall 2002 thru the winter of 2007. I am currently trying a new venture as a Recreation Leader for the department. My area of responsibility changes with the needs of the department. Special Events, Summer Camp and Outdoor Adventure are some of the areas that I work with. I look forward to serving the community in this new capacity.

Charlie Hutton
Recreation Assistant

Hi my name is Charlie, and I am very excited to be working for the Sweden/Clarkson Recreation Department. I graduated from the College at Brockport in December of 2009 with a Bachelors degree in Communication Studies and a Bachelors degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies with a concentration in Recreation Management. I am also a member of GVRPS and NYSRPS. I am a huge sports fan and my favorite teams include the New York Yankees, Buffalo Bills, Orlando Magic, and Syracuse University Basketball. I also played Soccer, Basketball, and Baseball throughout High School at Hilton High.

My main background is in sports but I have also run youth and teen programs as well as senior citizen programs. I believe recreation is a very important part of a person’s life. Whether it’s for fun, for a new experience or just to get away from the stress of everyday life, we all utilize recreation in a different way. I look forward to providing this great community with the best recreational opportunities and experiences as well as a helping hand and a friendly face.

Joe Kincaid
Recreation Assistant

Hello Everyone! My name Is Joe Kincaid, Recreation Assistant and I am excited to be working for the Sweden/Clarkson Recreation Department. I have grown up in this community, and I am happy to be serving it now. I graduated from The College at Brockport, SUNY in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies, with a concentration in Recreation Management. I also attended Brockport Central Schools for the first part of my academic career, so yes, I am a “townie.” I am currently a member of GVRPS (Genesee Valley Recreation and Parks Society), as well as NYSRPS (New York State Recreation and Parks Society). I am a huge Chicago Cubs and Dallas Cowboys fan. I know, not teams from the area, but those are the teams my father loves, so naturally I followed suit.

My whole life, I have always put a huge emphasis on laughter. It is the greatest feeling in the world to make someone crack up hysterically. I feel that if everyone laughed a little more, the world would have a bigger smile. Recreation is a big part of my life as well. Not only is it my career, I play in an adult softball league in the city, I love to golf and I absolutely adore fishing. You know what they say, “A bad day of fishing is better than a day in the office.” So that’s why all my sick days are used up! For me, working here is about creating a relationship with the people in the Sweden and Clarkson communities, and making them feel welcome and at home in our establishment. Bottom line, we serve the people, and I want to do that with an open mind and an open heart, with a joke to the side of course. If I don’t make you laugh the first time we meet, I will try even harder the next time!
